Spanish AEPD Cookie Consent Guidelines: How to Comply Today

The Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) recently provided updated guidance on the use of cookies based on the new guidelines from the European Data Protection Board (EDPB). The AEPD consent guidance provides companies doing business in Spain with more clarity on how to lawfully obtain consent for tracking technologies. Enforcement of the updated guidelines will begin on October 31, 2020.
